The current pandemic occupies, depresses or frightens many people. The massive changes in our everyday life make a photographic confrontation with this event seem inevitable. In order to get an impression of the worldwide exceptional situation, the artist group “Blaue Ampel” has asked photographers from several countries to capture their current everyday life in these weeks. This subjective view provides a small insight into the personal daily routine and the environment during the time of the pandemic, which we will probably be talking about for quite a few years.

Contributions are to be seen from the following countries:
Australia, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Nigeria, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, United States

First time after three months I went down town. I walked in the most touristic area of the centre. This time of the year it was always crowded by hordes of tourists but today I only saw locals walking by. Such a strange feeling. I enjoyed my walk though. [Maria Tampouratzi]

As so often we go hiking in Brandenburg (the state around Berlin) on weekends. There are many forests, fields and lakes. It is a very beautiful landscape. Exactly one year ago we took the night train to the Krakow Photomonth Festival. These little trips are now gone. The world has become smaller. [Thilo Seibt]
