Distance
A close friend called saying he is out to buy food, passing from my street and asked me to go out and "meet". We met just outside my home for a few minutes standing on the opposite sides of the road chatting. I felt so nice! Being alone all these days is hard...I miss a touch... [Maria Tampouratzi]

I am 24 days inside, alone, no family no friends just videocalls and a few walks. In a way all you have become friends and family. Sometimes people living in my building stand on their doorstep and talk to each other for a little while. I opened the door to greet them. She was wondering what will happen. [Maria Tampouratzi]
My neighbourhood
I went for a little walk around my place. I saw this nice little house from 1936. The sign above the door says "this too shall pass". I smiled... [Maria Tampouratzi]

Everytime I take the garbage out I stay for a little while. Since it is an out of house activity I try to extend it. I heard a voice and I turned my head up. Nice to chat even for five minutes. [Maria Tampouratzi]

Birthday
Really hard to choose only one photo foe my birthday! Cutting my vegan homemade cake with my close friends via video call was so great. One of them suprised me afterwards coming with her boyfriend on my doorstep. All of them made my birthday special. I only wish I could hug them... [Maria Tampouratzi]
Strange feeling
This is or at least was the busiest road in my area, full of shops and people. Now all the shops are closed and the few people passing by just walk quicly. Still I can not get used to see this. [Maria Tampouratzi]

Pinapple
Today after 48 days I met a friend. Not hugging, not touching, not kissing, we just went for a walk keeping a distance. On our walk we saw this pinapple and we thought how strange and sureal it is, just like the situation we live. [Maria Tampouratzi]
Bubble wrap
Today they delivered to me something I have ordered. When I opened the box I saw the bubble wrap. First thought was to start popping it but second one was that I have to do it either wearing gloves or dicinfect it first. Even the simpliest joys have gone or changed. [Maria Tampouratzi]
Cemetery
So many people were out today so I went for my walk to the cemetery. So quite, only me and the birds. [Maria Tampouratzi]

Shops will open on Monday and owners are getting ready, taking off the winter clothes and putting on the ones for spring. I have no sense of the time that has passed except from when I am counting the days of my isolation. [Maria Tampouratzi]

Normal day
Today was the first absolute normal day. I visited a couple who are very good friends of mine. We went for a drive, a nice walk and then we had a dinner at a restaurant. First time I felt relaxed doing things with other people. This is their lovely cat. [Maria Tampouratzi]

On the bus. Some people wear a mask only for not having to pay the fine. [Maria Tampouratzi]
Doctor's office
A sharp and intense pain in my right arm the last few days made me visit an orthopaedic doctor. Nice to see it empty. [Maria Tampouratzi]

Ancient agora
Museums are opening tomorrow so it will be first day to work for me. Today I visited some friends who work at the archeological site of Athens' ancient agora since sites have opened on the 1st of June. [Maria Tampouratzi]
